Coaching Staff

 MattOTooleMatt O'Toole, head men's soccer coach at Bridgewater College, has joined the coaching staff at the Collegiate Soccer Experience.
Prior to coming to Bridgewater, O'Toole was an assistant coach at the University of Richmond.

 

chris_norris2Chris Norris, head coach from William and Mary has joined the coaching staff at the Collegiate Soccer Experience. A long-time member of the Tribe men’s soccer program, Norris enters his 19th season overall at the College and his seventh as the program’s head men’s soccer coach.

 

john_triceJohn Trice, head coach from Greensboro College has joined the coaching staff at the Collegiate Soccer Experience. Trice was hired as the men’s soccer coach at Greensboro College in December, 2010. Trice arrived at GC after spending the past three seasons as an assistant men’s soccer coach at High Point University.

Bobby O'Brien, Assistant Director of Coaching at Williamsburg Soccer Club, joins the Collegiate Soccer Experience for 2010. After graduating from the Williamsburg Soccer Club O’Brien then went on to star at Virginia Tech from 2000-2004. During his four years at Tech O’Brien scored 29 goals and 15 assists as he played primarily as a forward. When he ended his career last fall O’Brien was 6th on both the all-time goals scored list (29) and all-time total points (73) at Tech.

Rich Miranda, Former Head Coach at the U.S. Naval Academy, joins the Collegiate Soccer Experinence. Rich, guided Navy to one of the top turn-arounds in the country in 2005, improving 4.5 games from the 2004 season (3-10-4) to an 8-6-2 record, 15th-best improvement in NCAA soccer in 2005 earning his first Patriot League Coach of the Year accolade.

Glenn Hayman, assistant coach at Roanoke College, joins the Collegiate Soccer Experience. Glenn Hayman is also the boy’s head soccer coach at Lord Botetourt High School. In 2008, he led LBHS to their best finish with a 13-4-3 record.  Last spring, he was named the 2009 District Coach of the Year after his team went 14-3-3 to break the school-record for most wins for the second-straight year.

Phil Hindson, head coach at UNC Pembroke, joins the Collegiate Soccer Experience. Phil recencently became the head coach of the UNC Pembroke Braves in January of 2010. Hindson joined the Braves after  serving the previous six seasons on the Clemson coaching staff, including a stint as the head coach for the Tigers in 2009. He also boasts a 5-year term as a Clemson assistant coach, as well as four seasons as an assistant coach at Winthrop. We are excited to have Phil join our staff this summer as he has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

 

scott_blackScott Black, assistant coach from Boston University has joined the coaching staff at the Collegiate Soccer Experience.  Black brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience. He has been coaching at the college level since 2001 coaching at excellent programs such as Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Boston University,
